When I lived in Japan in the late 80's I had a friend, an American married to a Japanese man, who cloth diapered, breast fed, slept in the family bed(normal in Japan), wore her babies( also normal), and gave birth in a teepee on a mountain(not that normal). She subscribed to Mothering magazine and it was one of the few English language materials that I had available to read. Click here to read about her school in Japan.
