Consignment

Sweet Pickles LLC consignment policy:
   Do you want to recoup the cost of cloth diapers but don't want to deal with the hassle of Craigslist?

Consign them with us and we'll do all the work. This is different from a "Diaper Swapper" type program because we inspect the diapers and have them available for pick-up or delivery in one location. This is a Twin Cities local program.

We will consign your used diapers that are in excellent condition. By this we mean:
    * Absolutely no stains or marks inside or outside (this includes marks caused by rash cream or stains).
    * No tears, snags or fraying seams
    * Functional elastic
    * Fleece or suede cloth linings must be in excellent condition.
    * No pet or human hair in the diapers.
    * All the closures work well (aplix or snaps)
    * Pocket diapers and covers must still be waterproof
    * Original tag intact, readable, and sewn to the diaper
    * Diapers must smell clean when received

   Please inspect your diapers carefully because we will only accept diapers that are in excellent condition as described above. If you have diapers to consign, just drop them off or meet us to have them picked up. We will inspect the diapers and fill out the consignment agreement. We will price the items at 50-75% of retail value, based on our best judgement. Generally sizes xs and xl do not have as good a resale value. We will take pictures, describe the items, and list them on the Sweet Pickles LLC website for 30 days and then another 30 days at half price. You will receive 60% of the selling price. So for example, a used Fuzzi Bunz which sell for $18 new, would be listed at about $13.50 and you would receive $8.10. After 60 days, we will donate the diapers, or you may pick them up. We will mail you a check when your diapers sell or after 60 days. Thank you for your interest in consigning. Email us if you are a mom who would like donated diapers due to economic circumstances. We will keep a wait list and donate diapers on a first come, first served basis. We are consigning diapers for teenyGreenies cloth diaper lending service. All profits go to their program.
